There used to be a huge gap between the wit of European adverts and the hard sell of American brands but over the years the gap has narrowed. But this, simple ad has that unmistakable European humor. It’s a simple gag that works perfectly for this brand. It’s timely, it’s understated and it’s perfectly constructed and paced. If ads were always this good I might not use my TiVo to skip past them all the time.
